Many mobile handset manufacturers, including most, if not all of the major ones, are deploying sets based on mobile Linux, and the proportion of mobile phones and other converged voice/data portable devices running on Linux is expected to grow significantly.
These manufacturers are taking advantage of the increased flexibility and lower costs of this open-source operating system. |
