Voice Codec for RealNetworks’ RealSystem
ACELP®.net keeps its status as leading low
bit rate
voice compression codec

June 11th 2002 —VoiceAge Corporation today
announced the continuation of a licensing agreement
with RealNetworks®, Inc to provide voice
codec (encoder and decoder) technology. Building
on past collaboration, RealNetworks will continue
to distribute VoiceAge's leading codec, ACELP®.net,
as the core low bit rate speech codec for the
RealSystem®

VoiceAge’s ACELP®.net a de facto standard
in streaming voice on the net,” said Laurent
