VoiceAge’s SPOTxde™'n'GO opens the door to thousands
of hours of new audio content compatible for
Franklin’s eBookMan® portable devices

Montreal, Canada, May 31st 2002 —VoiceAge Corporation and Franklin Electronic Publishers concluded their second agreement in the last 18 months with the official launch today of SPOTxde™'n'GO for eBookMan®, a desktop encoding tool, either for professional or personal use that makes any .wav and .avi audio files compatible with eBookMan® operating system 2.01 or greater.

SPOTxde™'n'GO for eBookMan® features an easy-to-use interface and requires only a few simple steps to select and encode audio content. Built around the ACELP® core voice compression technology that is pivotal to AudibleReady® devices and media platforms such as Real Media® and Windows Media® Architectures, SPOTxde™'n'GO for eBookMan® bridges the Internet audio content and Franklin's eBookMan® portable devices.
