Franklin Electronic Publishers concluded their
second agreement in the last 18 months with
the official launch today of SPOTxde™'n'GO
for eBookMan®, a desktop encoding tool,
either for professional or personal use that
makes any .wav and .avi audio files compatible
with eBookMan® operating system 2.01 or
greater.
SPOTxde™'n'GO for eBookMan® features
an easy-to-use interface and requires only a
few simple steps to select and encode audio
content. Built around the ACELP® core voice
compression technology that is pivotal to AudibleReady®
devices and media platforms such as Real Media®
and Windows Media® Architectures, SPOTxde™'n'GO
for eBookMan® bridges the Internet audio
content and Franklin's eBookMan® portable
devices.
