VoiceAge's SPOTxde™ closely tied to 3G
wireless services in Japan

2,000 content creators are using SPOTxde™
to surf the 3G wave


Montreal, Canada, February 28, 2002 — - VoiceAge Corporation today unveiled SPOTxde™ Pro 2.4 the latest release of the first ever software to generate audio/video content compatible with 3G wireless services currently in use in Japan.


“We officially launched SPOTxde™ exactly 100 days ago in Tokyo with much anticipated hopes of success based on Japan's general public receptiveness to NTT DoCoMo FOMA services,” said Laurent Amar, Vice President Strategic Planning and Business Alliances for VoiceAge. “We're delighted to report that over 2,000 content creators and media providers, large and small, are using SPOTxde™, thus, playing a major role as early contributors to 3G communications. SPOTxde™ was developed based on Japan's leading wireless service provider technical specifications, and initiated the upsurge of a wide variety of multimedia content such as movie trailers, music files, customized advertising and news highlights. Thanks to SPOTxde™, wireless subscribers in Japan are now able to experience media-rich content directly on their handsets.
